John has been an active and contributing member of the field of international education for over 20 years, including 17 years with CAPA. He is a committed member of several professional organizations including NAFSA, The Association of International Educators, The Forum on Education Abroad as well as a recognized leader and trainer in education abroad administration and health and safety management for education abroad.


David Enda

David overseas partnership development and outreach. He is instrumental in strategy, enrollment, and growth of all CAPA Program Models.

David began his international education career with CAPA in 2002 building custom faculty-led programs with our partner institutions. David became Vice President of Institutional Relations in 2007, and over the next 7 years served in a number of different leadership roles including Vice President of US Operations and Vice President of Marketing. David also served on CAPA’s Board of Directors. Additionally, David has always been active in the field, presenting numerous times over the years at conferences such as NAFSA, CIEE, and GIC.


Jodi Melichar
Jodi Melichar
Vice President of Global Program Services

Jodi oversees CAPA’s enrollment services, pre-departure advising, student accounts, and our centers abroad.

Prior to joining CAPA in 2006, Jodi worked for STA Travel serving as a manager for The George Washington University and Boston University branch offices. In addition Jodi spent four years leading tours in India, Nepal, and Vietnam for Intrepid Travel, an Australian based adventure travel company.

Through her studies in India as well as her own travels, and experience serving as an international tour leader she learned firsthand the importance of thorough pre-departure preparation to set the framework for a culturally rich and safe time abroad.


Tracey Cappie-Wood

Tracey leads and coordinates all the operational components of the CAPA Sydney Program. She has had a long career in education and student services, holding the positions of School Principal for over 20 years encompassing three Sydney schools, Executive Director at Canberra Institute of Technology, Director at the University of Canberra and most recently with the University of Wollongong where she was responsible for redesigning the pedagogy curriculum of three secondary education degrees. Over the past two years, she has undertaken a Master of Educational and Social Research with the University of London.


Julia Miller
Julia Miller
Director of Academic Affairs, Sydney

Julia has oversight of the academic program in Sydney, both its development and delivery. She joined CAPA in 2012 teaching Australian History and came to look forward to each new semester and each new cohort of students. She is involved in the Globally Networked Learning program in the Global Cities course with faculty from London and Dublin. Her areas of research are the Environmental Humanities and Gender Studies. Julia earned her PhD from Macquarie University in Sydney researching the history of climate change in Australia.


Carolyn Gill
Carolyn Gill
Institutional Relations Manager

Carolyn works closely with our institutional partners in the Midwest states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Prior to CAPA, she worked for over thirteen years in consultative sales in foreign language publishing and technology. Carolyn studied in Seville, Spain during her sophomore year at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, Indiana) where she graduated with a degree in Spanish and Communication. She also holds a Master of Education in World Language Instruction from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. A lifelong learner, traveler and language lover, Carolyn taught English in Seville for three years after college and has also studied abroad in Nice, France, and Rome and Siena, Italy.
