John has been an active and contributing member of the field of international education for over 20 years, including 17 years with CAPA. He is a committed member of several professional organizations including NAFSA, The Association of International Educators, The Forum on Education Abroad as well as a recognized leader and trainer in education abroad administration and health and safety management for education abroad.

David overseas partnership development and outreach. He is instrumental in strategy, enrollment, and growth of all CAPA Program Models.
David began his international education career with CAPA in 2002 building custom faculty-led programs with our partner institutions. David became Vice President of Institutional Relations in 2007, and over the next 7 years served in a number of different leadership roles including Vice President of US Operations and Vice President of Marketing. David also served on CAPA’s Board of Directors. Additionally, David has always been active in the field, presenting numerous times over the years at conferences such as NAFSA, CIEE, and GIC.
Director of Academic Affairs in Shanghai, CAPA The Global Education Network
Dr. Bian works with our host campus of East China Normal University (ECNU) to manage the academic offerings for CAPA students, and seeks opportunities for students to use Shanghai as their classroom.
In addition to significant experience in international executive training and consulting, Dr. Bian has taught business-related courses in ECNU’s Global Curriculum and for programs throughout Europe. His research has mainly focused on competitive advantage sustainability, time-related strategy formulation and implementation, international entrepreneurship, international business between China and Europe, and social networks.

Colin manages CAPA Shanghai operations and student services, including leading orientation and excursions, as well as providing extensive support throughout the program. He brings over 25 years of high-profile experience in international education for American undergraduates. Colin makes regular contributions as a columnist to the China Daily newspaper and has also undertaken education consultancy for blue-chip companies.
